okay this is basically a reverse permissions post??? let me know what you want Sherlock to NOT FIGURE OUT about your character, or what you think would be too weird for him to deduce (Jenny being a clone, Ryoji being DEATH, Teddie being ... a bear? I am not even clear on him myself,) etc. and if I wind up going too god-mod-meta on you, please please please let me know so I can correct it!! he's supposed to be obnoxious with how much he knows about people, but I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable.

Um, as for my other kids, there aren't too many secrets -- I can't think of any for Shepard, Kyon, or Tamaki. Chie's questioning her sexuality, that's easy to guess. Ten's an alien but that's no secret...
Tim, I guess, has plenty of secrets. I'm not sure how quickly Sherlock could deduce that he's a vigilante crime-fighter, but as long as Holmes doesn't say it publicly I've got no problem with him figuring it out.
Anyway yeah basically I'm down with anything he can deduce I'm just excited to see it happen.

and, probably Sherlock could pick up on Tim's super secret crime fighting night job, observing like idk callous buildup and wear patterns and residue and body language/whatever, but unless Tim bugs him enough into retaliation or goads him into showing off Sherlock probably won't feel the need to drop that particular bomb? or he might just assume he's a martial artist and not recognize the vigilante part, if that's easier and less godmodey??

it will probably take him a bit to accept "fairy" as a reasonable deduction, so I imagine he'll think of her as some sort of semi-feral crazy child. I mean until uh magic shows up and then he gets mad about science being thrown out the window

I do want to have Tim and Sherlock have something of a clever-off at some point. Tim isn't as good as Holmes but he is still a Hell of a detective. According to Batman, better than Batman at least in potential if not expertise. So maybe we should have it be sort of a progressive why-don't-you-fit-established-patterns thing?
We could either chat or thread about the details, if you like.

The first things to notice about Tim would probably be that the way he moves, physiology, and etc. indicate he is a world-class martial artist and gymnast.... and totally uninvolved in school athletics. He scans a room when he enters, never sits with his back to a door or window if he can help it, shreds credit card receipts before he throws them away... he's a classic paranoid, which is probably pretty weird in an eighteen year old. If Sherlock wants to rattle off a list of things Tim can obviously do, I have a decent list here.
He also carries lockpicks and other concealed gear behind his belt, takes pains never to wear the color red as a civilian, and Holmes at least can probably tell that some of his social awkwardness is an act.

ffff Definitely just heard him say "Fairy!" in the same tone as "Sister!" in the first episode. The world has failed him, and he is deeply irritated by it. <3

i can't think of anything that would be too weird for sherlock to figure out. even finnick, who has mountains of secrets, is pretty easy to figure out and also pretty terrible at keeping his dark past on the downlow. so GO CRAZY!! and of course if you have any questions (especially with john because that wiki's kind of a clusterfuck and hs is confusing as hell) you know i'd be more than stoked to answer them .3.

Well, he can figure out whatever he'd like about Derek, since you are familiar with his canon. :3 YOU CAN PICK AND CHOOSE what he deduces and so on, I'm up for anything. Plus it'd be interesting to see Sherlock make Derek squirm, if he does find out about him being a werewolf and all. POSSIBLE BLACK MAIL MAYBE? We'll see.
